The Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour is an event that embodies the variegated "sports" souls of sailing.
In fact, the event combines the fascination of offshore regattas, disputed by the fleet of ten Beneteau Figaro 3s along the lines joining the various stage venues, with the dynamic competitive spirit of trials on the buoys, where the protagonists will be the Wingfoil and WASZP class specialists, single foiling one design of the latest generation.
The Tour, which bears the name of the Marina Militare and which the Armed Forces actively supports in the implementation phases, is organized by Difesa Servizi S.p.A. in collaboration with SSi Sports & Events, and with the support of ENIT - the National Tourism Agency - and the Italian Sailing Federation.
It is a sporting event that was created to enhance the Marina Militare brand through sailing and which over the years has become an effective tool for promoting tourism and the beauties of the country together with ENIT.
On July 1st, the vessels of the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour will accompany the Amerigo Vespucci vessel as it leaves the Port of Genoa to pay homage to it on the occasion of its departure around the world.
The opening will be attended by: the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Marina Militare, Admiral Giuseppe Berutti Bergotto; the Mayor of Genoa, Doctor Marco Bucci; the Director of Enit, Sandro Pappalardo; the President of the Italian Sailing Federation, Dr. Francesco Ettorre; the Chief Executive Officer of Difesa Servizi S.p.A. doctor Luca Andreoli and the President of SSi Sports & Events, doctor Riccardo Simoneschi.
